 APPEARANCE & ODOR
 Clear colorless liquid. Slight odor of alcohol.

 REACTIVITY & CONDITIONS TO AVOID
 Stable. No spontaneous self-reactions. Incompatible
with oxidants.

 FIRE HAZARDS

Flammable with heat spark or flame. Flame is nearly
invisible. NFPA # 3-3-1.

 HEALTH HAZARDS
 Irritating to skin, eyes and on inhalation. Toxic
effects on CNS, narcotic properties. Toxic
internally LD50 (oral-rat) 5628 mg/kg. 50-250ml is
fatal dose to humans. Smaller doses may cause
blindness. Other symptoms include dizziness,
blurring of vision, headaches, nausea,
unconsciousness and intoxication. OSHA PEL/ACGIH TLV:
TWA: 200 ppm. DTLVS. ACGIH STEL 250 ppm. No evidence
of carcinogenicity.

 SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

Wear goggles and rubber gloves while handling. Keep
away from ignition sources.

FIRST AID

Wash skin and eyes thoroughly with water. Get
medical assistance if irritation develops.
Inhalation; remove to fresh air. If swallowed, give
milk or water and induce vomiting. Get medical
assistance.

SPILLS & LEAKS

Take up spill in absorbent and incinerate. Wash up
with water. Small amounts may be disposed of to
sanitary drain. Check local regulations.
